This place is great. They have the best selection around. Larry sounds like he might have isssues. I do know the owner and he donates to ball teams, charities and the Murfreesboro community. Oh yea and they pay overtime, have health insurance, 401k and benifits. All employees are run through the proper channels for hire. I think you should call Mr. Higbee who is the owner and sit down for a little education on your remarks. You are way off target..... The reason for my comment is to share my many great shopping experiences with all. The owner and staff are great folks with a wealth of knowledge. I have been shoping there for years and will continue too. Larry come on

I have heard horror stories about working at this place. I actually heard who i believe to be the owner call an employee d.a. out on the sales lot one day. The employees here are suprisingly nice and helpful. I just can not support how they are treated by the owner. He constantly talks down to the employees there. My nephew worked there for a summer and he said it is so ridiculous. He said that most employees do not even get to take their breaks there. If you do shop there, know that the employees are actually being nice to you because they are good people -Larry Stevenson

Southbranch is a great garden center. If you are looking for something unique for your garden, then make the trip. I always like going there because i know the staff is friendly and they know their stuff. Their plants always look the best of anywhere in middle tennessee and you can take it from me because i have toured garden centers all over the world for the last 30 years. Southbranch is a great place to find unique plants and your normal stuff too plus great outdoor living things such as locally made firepits and unique mixed planters. Oh, and the staff is really helpful. The manager is so great he walked me around my first time there for like a half hour. Definitely a destination garden center, should be on any gardener's list to visit.
